The SS Badger in port prior to ferrying me and the Krampus across Lake Michigan to Luddington, MI. Required to stow the bicycle in the cargo hold with the automobiles, this was the first and only time the Krampus and I were separated during the trip.

Detroit Lakes, MN to Paul Bunyan Trail, MN

After a few days of rest and spending time with family, to include taking Maiya on a pontoon voyage around Detroit Lake, it was time to saddle up once more and continue eastward.
Enjoying creepy Mr. Bunyan’s warm embrace.
The Krampus leaned against the snowmobile shelter next to which I spent the night. In Detroit Lakes I wisely swapped my Brooks Cambium saddle for my B17.
